Alternate Energy - Solar
The institution set up a 50kWp solar PV generation with maxE configuration, 50-kilowatt system that generates 75000 units of electricity every year. Institution has done this with an on-grid system, on a lease model. The per-unit cost paid by the institution is 8.5 rupees, lesser than that from BESCOM (the utility provider).
