Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)


B.Com education opens up various career opportunities in the business and commerce sector. B.Com degree under NEP promotes an interdisciplinary approach encouraging students to integrate knowledge from various fields. It offers academic programs that cover areas such as accounting, finance, marketing, taxation, and management. Students in the commerce department gain foundation in understanding of business principals, preparing them for various careers in the corporate world of entrepreneurship.

Graduates with B.Com degree can pursue roles in accounting, finance, marketing, sales, & banking, it also serves as a foundation for postgraduate studies such as M.Com, MBA or professional certifications like CA or CMA.

Candidates who have completed two year Pre-University course of Karnataka State or its equivalent with Business Studies and Accountancy as two major subjects of study in both first and second year pre-university are eligible for admission into this course.
